Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These terms explain how Chokdee Visa works with you. By booking our services, you agree to them.

Who we are

Chokdee Visa is a Thailand-based visa and immigration paperwork assistance service, operated by Thiraporn Suksa-Ard (Mai), serving clients in Hua Hin, Cha-am, and Pranburi.

Our services

We offer three services: Visa Applications & Extensions (Standard and Premium), the 90-Day Report, and Notification of Residence (TM30). Our visa services cover Retirement (Non-O and O-A), Marriage (Non-O), Work (Non-B), Dependent visas (Non-O), and Tourist Visa Extensions (If you are currently in Thailand on a tourist visa, we do not help you convert it into another visa type, such as marriage or work. You would need to apply for that visa from outside Thailand first). The Notification of Residence service is for new foreign homeowners only, not tenants.

What we do, and what we don't do

We help you prepare, check, and file your paperwork, so your file is complete and correct before it reaches Thai Immigration.

For Visa Applications & Extensions: under our Standard service, we visit your home to check your documents and complete the required forms together, and you submit your file yourself; under our Premium service, we collect everything needed, assemble your complete file, accompany you to the immigration office for submission, and handle the final pickup once your extension is ready.

For the 90-Day Report, we collect your passport at your home, file the report at the immigration office on your behalf, and return your passport to you afterward.

For Notification of Residence, we complete the registration directly at your home, and confirm once it's filed with immigration.

No guarantee of outcome

The decision to approve or reject any visa application, extension, or notification rests entirely with Thai Immigration authorities. We cannot guarantee approval, processing time, or any specific outcome. What we do guarantee is that your file will be complete, accurate, and submitted correctly based on the information and documents you provide us.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate, genuine, and complete information and documents. For visa applications and extensions, your personal presence at the immigration office is required by Thai law, regardless of which service level you choose. For marriage based applications, your Thai spouse's presence is also required at submission, as this is an immigration requirement, not ours.

Fees and payment

For Visa Applications & Extensions, a 20% deposit secures your appointment, deducted from your total cost. The remaining balance is paid when we arrive at your home, before we begin working on your file, by bank transfer or in cash, as you prefer. For the 90-Day Report and Notification of Residence, full payment is made in advance by bank transfer.

Switching between Standard and Premium

You can switch from Standard to Premium at any time during your appointment, for example if you realize you'd rather not handle the paperwork or copies yourself, and we'll adjust the price accordingly.

Switching from Premium to Standard is only possible before we start working on your file. Once we've begun, the service stays Premium.

If you booked Standard and later ask for a second document check or any extra work after your initial home visit, this is treated as a switch to Premium, and priced accordingly.

Government and third party fees

For Premium visa services, government fees and, for marriage-based extensions, the witness fee, are included in the price you're quoted. For Standard visa services, these fees are not included: you pay them directly to Thai Immigration yourself when you submit your file.

Re-entry permits are never included in our price, under either service. We can take care of the process for you; you simply pay us the exact government fee for the re-entry permit, with nothing added on top.

Cancellations and deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. They secure your appointment and the time we set aside to prepare your file.

If you need to move your appointment to another date, that's not a problem, your deposit stays valid. It's only lost if you cancel altogether.

Once you have paid the remaining balance in full and we have started working on your file, no refund will be given if you decide not to continue.

If we stop working on your file

If we decide to stop working on your file because you have given us false or fraudulent information or documents, because of threatening or abusive behavior towards our staff, or because of behavior that breaches Thai law, you will not be refunded.

Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as immigration office closures, public holidays, strikes, or sudden changes in regulations. If this happens, we will keep you informed and continue working on your file as soon as possible.

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for delays, additional costs, or decisions made by Thai Immigration authorities that are outside our control. Our liability, where it applies, is limited to the fees you paid us for the specific service concerned.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, or believe we have not delivered what we agreed, contact us directly at chokdeevisacontact@gmail.com, and we will always try to resolve the issue with you first.

Confidentiality

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
